Located at Community Regional Medical Center — the region’s only Level I Trauma Center — our inpatient Dialysis department provides critical renal support for hospitalized patients across all units. This department includes a 12-bed inpatient unit and offers bedside dialysis for patients with acute or chronic renal failure. In addition to dialysis services, the team also delivers specialized inpatient apheresis care. As a nursing leader in this department, you’ll help guide a skilled team in delivering lifesaving treatments in both the unit and bedside environments.

• Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a team that delivers complex renal and apheresis care to patients across multiple service lines.
• Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements and ensure operational efficiency across both the inpatient dialysis unit and bedside service model.
• Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development.

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.

• RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required 

• BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required 

• Certifications as required for the unit
